BURTON MANOR

CHESHIRE

This historic Grade II listed building, which was almost close to ruin, was brought back to life with a painstaking paintwork conservation project that has ensured its continuing legacy as an important piece of the nation’s history.

Carried out in close consultation with English Heritage, the project was carried out by Curtis’ specialist painters who worked with meticulous detail to complete interior and exterior work within the client’s 12-month timescale.

Details like keeping the colour scheme simple throughout the building allowed the manor’s original features - its stained glass windows, fireplaces and ornate staircases - to dominate and take centre stage.
